Bad Faith Insurance Attorney
Attorney Profile
For over 32 years, I have represented consumers and small business owners in lawsuits against insurance companies, insurance agents, banks, government entities, and attorneys. My practice is primarily focused on protecting people and businesses against insurance industry abuses. Over the years I have handled numerous cases involving non-payment or underpayment of homeowners claims and commercial property claims; insurers that refuse to defend liability claims; and insurers that unreasonably delay or deny uninsured motorist and automobile property claims.
I am a 1988 graduate of UCLA School of Law.

Representative Cases
Homeowner's Property Insurance: Over the past 32 years, I have successfully sued virtually every major insurance company for non-payment or underpayment of homeowners claims involving fires, earthquake, wind, and water damage.
Insurance Agent or Broker Negligence: Policyholders often discover after they make claims that they do not have the coverage they requested from their agent or broker. Insurance agents and brokers owe policyholders a duty to obtain requested coverage, and if they don't, they may be held liable for the resulting loss.
Wrongful termination based on gender, disability, age, or employee complaints about illegal activity: Employers do not have a right to fire employees based on their gender, age, religion, race, or because they have disabilities that don't interfere with their jobs. Employers do not have a right to fire employees while they are out on family and medical leave. I have successfully handled numerous wrongful termination cases involving employment discrimination, retaliation for whistleblowing, and violations of state and federal family and medical leave laws.
Unfair Debt Collection Practices: I am one of the lead attorneys in a class action against a major bank that illegally attempted to collect on foreclosed mortgages.
Teacher Sex Abuse Litigation: I represent students who were molested by their teacher at a Los Angeles Unified School District elementary school. Although the teacher had been arrested for molesting an eight-year old in 1997, LAUSD allowed the teacher unsupervised access to children for thirteen years, and failed to warn administrators and other teachers about his history as a predator.
